PAT Testing (Portable Appliance Testing)

Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) tests every electrical appliance that you provide with your home including lamps, kettles & toasters. These tests should be conducted yearly and will record the safety and energy efficiency of each appliance within the home. DRH can conduct these tests within your rental properties yearly so you and your tenants can keep track of energy consumption and appliance safety.

To ensure their effectiveness fuses boxes / consumer units should be tested every 10 years. In that time, you should of also replaced your fuse board if you don’t have an RCD or your RCD is showing signs of damage. DRH can replace any fuse boards or RCD boards as well as conducting all fire safety tests on smoke alarms. If you need fresh smoke alarms our electricians can install a new set of smoke detectors into your property.
